TREPAC Gets a Fun-filled Boost from Dallas-area Diversity Groups

Five diversity organizations across the Texas real estate industry joined together to host “Fair Play for TREPAC,” a fun-filled evening that honored the 50th anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, and raised more than $6,600 for the Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee.

Working with State Legislators, Tennessee REALTORS® Have April Declared Fair Housing Month in The Volunteer State
Median housing prices in Tennessee have increased over 22%, and newcomers are coming to the state in droves, so the values of fair housing and equal opportunity housing are more important than ever. To elevate and amplify conversations and advocacy promoting these principles, the leadership of Tennessee REALTORS® spearheaded an effort to have the state legislature pass a resolution making April Fair Housing Month at the state level.

Spokane, Washington, was in a housing crisis. A National Association of REALTORS® grant is helping to change that—and earned the city a 2023 Smart Communities Award from Governor Jay Inslee, to boot.
Award-Winning Project Spurred by NAR Grant
In 2022, census data showed that housing inventory in Washington state was the lowest in the country, and the city of Spokane, population 229,000, had only a two- to three-week supply of homes. To help address the crisis, Spokane REALTORS® implemented a National Association of REALTORS® grant to support an objective assessment of market conditions and roadblocks, plus a practical plan for moving forward.
