North Carolina REALTORS® staff knew that finding adequate, affordable health insurance was a challenge for the state’s small businesses and associations; discovering that as many as 6,000 of the state’s REALTORS® were not covered lent a real sense of urgency to their advocacy efforts.

The Central Oregon Association of REALTORS® supports of the city of Bend’s Community Climate Action Plan, but it had to draw the line at a mandatory measure that was certain to increase rising home costs even more. A robust response to a timely Call for Action helped convince the City Council to remove the word ‘required’ from the plan.

With the rate of growth that Greenville, South Carolina is experiencing, the last thing it needed was a county-wide moratorium on new residential subdivisions. A timely Call for Action by the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® convinced the County Council’s Planning and Development Committee to reconsider.
