GAD Nation–

Our constitutional crisis has been averted and we have elected a Vice Chair.  Congratulations to the gentleman from Texas, Mr. Brandon Alderete, on his election to serve as VC on the GAD Advisory Group!  We look forward to working with Mr. Alderete as we plan this year’s Institute in Detroit.

Thank you for attending the recent All-GAD Calls!  We heard from Shannon and Jon regarding the most recent reorganization of NAR Advocacy Group in January.  Then the recent call with Rich Thau to discuss rent control issues and messaging. Your participation is key to making these successful and worth repeating.

The AG has discussed making the Institute a year-round experience with regularly scheduled content calls with subject matter experts.  These might be topics that do not work for an Institute presentation but could be a webinar.  We are limited in what we can offer at the Institute because of time and/or logistics but we can provide education throughout the year if the body supports this.

What do you think?  What would you like to hear about?  Send your suggestions to josh@charlestonrealtors.com and we can go from there.

Take care and talk soon!

Josh
