Chair’s Letter
GAD Nation,
This is my final column for GADFly as your Chair — and it’s truly bittersweet! We’re just a week away from gathering in Charleston, and I’m eager to get the conference rolling. None of it would have come together without the dedication of the GAD AG and our outstanding NAR staff, especially Jami Sims. I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done!
Crafting this program is no small feat: it takes countless hours to generate ideas, refine them into just a few days of sessions, and ensure the content resonates with our diverse GAD community. Whether you are a brand-new GAD, or battle-tested; I’m confident you will leave Charleston with fresh insights and inspiration.
It has been an honor to serve as your Chair this past year. I’ve learned so much from each of you. I hope in some way, I’ve helped you grow, feel more empowered and seen, and encouraged you to keep moving forward personally and professionally. You’ll be in very capable hands as Neeley Erickson takes over as your next Chair. Neeley has a wealth of knowledge and passion, she’s a fantastic listener, and she is eager to guide us through another great year. Thank you, Neeley, for being a truly supportive and encouraging Vice Chair. I am so grateful for you.
To GAD Nation – thank you for giving me this extraordinary opportunity. I can’t wait to see you soon.
Signing off,
Lacey Everett
