Community Development Advocacy Grant Program Nearing Capacity

Due to strong interest, the Community Development Advocacy (CDA) Grant Program has already committed about 95% of this year’s budget. Because of this pace, the application window will likely close earlier than the October 15 deadline. If your association is planning an initiative that may be eligible for support from a Fair Housing, Housing Opportunity, Smart Growth, Placemaking or Rural Outreach grant, we encourage you to submit your application soon. New FPC Nomination Cycle to Begin Soon

Please begin considering your Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) nominations and replacements for the next Congressional cycle and familiarize yourself with the FPC Nomination Portal where you will input your selections.  The  FPC Nomination Portal User Guide is a helpful tool if you have not been through this process in the past. The deadline for submitting FPC nominations is November 21, 2026.
As a reminder, NAR Executive Vice President and Chief Advocacy Officer Shannon McGahn will review state recommendations before final approval by 2026 NAR President Kevin Brown. FPCs are expected to be approved in early December. 

SAVE THE DATE: On October 7 at 1:00 p. m. CT/2:00 p. m. ET, NAR Advocacy will host a webinar for State Presidents, AEs, and GADs to review the nomination and onboarding process, demonstrate the  FPC Nomination Portal and answer questions. Additional office hours with the Aristotle team will be offered in the weeks following the webinar. More information will be provided.

Train the Trainer is a course that teaches GADs to deliver NAR’s Best Practices for Choosing REALTOR® Champions course. Participants learn the curriculum, best practices needed to train volunteer leaders on identifying, evaluating, and supporting REALTOR® Champion candidates while ensuring consistent delivery of the program across state and local associations.

Powered by 1.4 million members, the campaign included congressional testimony, thousands of meetings, original research, coalition-building, expert policy guidance, and targeted Calls for Action.

We frequently receive questions about what RPAC information may be shared online. The key distinction is whether content appears on a public website or a private, member-only platform.

Under FEC rules, RPAC solicitations may only be directed towards members of the solicitable class, and “solicitation” is defined broadly. Information encouraging or explaining RPAC investment, including benefits or how to give, must remain behind a website firewall.

The RPAC Printshop is coming, and we’re building it around what associations actually use. Tell us what templates and items you want to see offered.

The goal is to find the common needs across states and build templated assets you can customize or use as-is. Not every request will be filled, but if you have an idea worth building, we want to know about it!

President’s Circle Conference: Registration Deadlines Ahead

Registration access for the 2027 President’s Circle Conference is tied to when a member completes their 2026 commitment – the date the pledge is recorded in Aristotle is what determines the registration round. Two deadlines are still open:

8/31 — Pledge recorded by this date for 2nd round registration eligibility.
9/30 — Final deadline to complete 2026 President’s Circle pledge.

📅 Save the date: The 2027 RPAC President’s Circle Conference will be held March 23-26, 2027, at the Gaylord Pacific in San Diego.

Hall of Fame Nominations Now Open

Nominations for the RPAC Hall of Fame Class of 2026 are open. Submit investors who have reached a lifetime giving threshold, and we’ll review each record to confirm qualification.

Investments must be received by 12/31/26 to count toward the Class of 2026. Staff must request the investor’s lifetime giving history by 1/20/27, and nominations close 1/31/27.

You can now request an investor’s lifetime giving history directly from the REALTOR® Party website – useful for Hall of Fame nominations, recognition planning, and upgrade conversations.

Turn Your Advocacy Priority into Consumer Action

Is your association working on a state or local policy issue involving housing affordability, homeownership opportunities, or zoning? The Consumer Advocacy Grant can help you launch a targeted campaign that educates and engages consumers through digital ads, videos, infographics, social content, and campaign landing pages. State and local associations may apply for up to $25,000 to turn an advocacy priority into measurable community impact.

The final two grant review meetings are September 9 and October 6. Applications are due one week before the applicable meeting. Apply today.
