Pennsylvania REALTORS® Lobby Governor to Resume Responsible In-Person Real Estate Business
Across Pennsylvania, the pandemic shut-down was leaving housing consumers in dire straits, and real estate professionals unable to provide any in-person service. With 48 other states allowing at least some form of in-person real-estate business during the lockdown, the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® worked tirelessly to convince a reluctant governor that housing is essential business.
Akron Cleveland REALTORS® Is Poised to Reach 266,000 Consumers
Mandatory point-of-sale inspections and associated escrow requirements can add significant challenges to buying a home, and the Akron Cleveland Association of REALTORS® is working to get these ordinances off the books in cities throughout the region it serves. The association will educate consumers with a compelling 12-page insert in two regional magazines.

Historic Election, Strong Night for REALTORS®
The 2020 Election was definitely one for the books. There was record-breaking early voter turnout nationally as well as for REALTORS®, and a candidate who received the most votes ever cast for a presidential candidate. Overall, REALTORS® had a great election night! On the federal level, we used considerable resources to run 83 opportunity races, which are member-focused political communications, and 12 independent expenditures directed to the general public.
