• Host NAR’s Planning and Zoning Class or other educational activities including speakers who can address specific growth and development issues impacting your community.
  • Activities to increase connectivity, walkability, bikeability and wayfinding to provide for a more walkable community.   These activities shall include wayfinding and recreational signs, pedestrians refuge areas, creative crosswalks, temporary street-level safety features, walking tours, Walkable Community Workshops, walk and bike to school programsand walking detective
  • Downtown Mainstreet Assessments: conduct a strategy to revitalize or strengthen a downtown or commercial district using the Main Street Approach.
  • Better Block: organize a Better Block which is a one to two-day event to implement a community’s vision to revitalize a downtown.
  • Fiscal Impact of Land Use Analyses – such as provided by Urban-3
  • Community Planning, Input, Outreach & Engagement such as visioning processes, charettes, pop-up workshops, project mock-ups, steering committees, developer open houses, public open houses, utility roundtables.
  • Development of Community Plans: Strategic, general, master, comprehensive, land use, park/open space, bicycle/pedestrian, placemaking, etc.
  • Development/Updating of Policies/Ordinances/Legislation such as: Complete Streets, Zoning Codes, etc.
  • Studies & Reports, such as: Market Analysis, Land Use Analysis, etc.
  • Conferences, Events & Webinars – supporting events of other organizations that REALTORS® are substantially engaged such as serving on a conference planning committee, planning a conference session, speaking or serving as moderator to a session or involved in follow-up event activity.
