Funding for the 2026 State and Local Growth Polling Program has been fully allocated, and applications are now closed for the year. The State and Local Growth Polling Program empowers REALTOR® associations with credible, data-driven insights into how residents view growth, housing, transportation, land use, and community development issues in their communities.
Through this program, NAR connects state and local associations with its nationally recognized public opinion research firm to conduct customized surveys of local residents. Typically surveying approximately 400 registered voters within a defined geographic area, these polls provide valuable intelligence on community priorities, concerns, and policy preferences.
The results serve as a powerful advocacy tool, helping REALTOR® associations engage elected officials, planners, stakeholders, and the public with objective data that can inform decision-making and shape conversations around growth and development. By grounding advocacy efforts in local public opinion, associations can more effectively advance solutions that support housing opportunities, economic vitality, and quality of life.
NAR covers the full cost of eligible surveys conducted through the program,
