GAD Nation–

Welcome to 2023! What an exciting time to be involved in our community!

We are looking forward to kicking off 2023 with an advocacy update from Shannon and Jon regarding the reorganization and NAR Advocacy efforts going forward. Tune in on Monday, January 23rd for this All-GAD call to hear about the changes and what this means for us GADs.

Although we are excited for the year ahead, we have a couple of departures from our ranks. Among those, Liz Peetz, GAD from Colorado and our Vice Chair has taken another role outside of GAD world. We wish her the best and she will be missed. Liz has been an integral part of the GAD family and Liz will continue to be a part of our family. However, we must elect a new GAD Vice Chair. The election will take place with another All-GAD Call on Tuesday, February 7th. We will also hear from Rich Thau, who is doing interesting work on the topic of rent control.

The GAD AG is working to narrow our topics for GAD Institute and discuss speakers. If you have thoughts or suggestions on either of these, please reach out and let us know what and who you want to hear from. We want to create an Institute that we all benefit from and that will serve our greater community.

We hope everyone’s year has started off strong! If there is anything we can do to support you, we want to share in that experience.

Sincerely,
Josh
