Power in Numbers: TN REALTORSĀ® Join Forces for Statewide RPAC-A-THON
When it comes to RPAC fundraising, Tennessee is way ahead of the curve. For the past three years, the Tennessee Association of REALTORSĀ® (TAR) has held coordinated phone bank events with about a dozen of its local associations via a live feed. This year, TAR held a super-sized version of Phone-a-Friend for RPAC program called āRPAC-A-THON,ā raising more than $50,000.

Indiana Association of REALTORSĀ® Wins Legislation Requiring Mandatory Buyer Agency Agreements for All Real Estate Licensees
After two years of membership engagement and education, and policymaker outreach by the stateās REALTORĀ® association, Indiana now has legislation requiring buyer agency agreements to be mandatory for all real estate licensees, effective July 1st. The timing of the new state law gave Indiana REALTORSĀ® a head start on preparing for NARās proposed seller commission same lawsuit settlement and ensures that all licensed real estate brokers across the state will operate by the standard for consumer protection and transparency.
Miami REALTORSĀ® Kick off Year of Advocacy with Community Engagement Projects
With 46,000 members, the Miami Association of REALTORSĀ® contributes significantly to the REALTORĀ® Party, but hadn't been able to utilize its grant programs with any efficiency of scale. But this year the association kicked off a program that better enables the large local associations to partake in all the opportunities available with maximum impact. Now, Miami is benefiting from a range of projects from dog parks to the development of a container house prototype, all with the support of the REALTORĀ® Party.
