New Year, New REALTOR® Party Opportunities

January 2023

As your association builds advocacy action plans for 2023, don’t overlook the many resources available through the REALTOR® Party help take your efforts to the next level.

You don’t have to start with a major campaign. Use a grant to host a community discussion or clean up an underutilized space in your town – and let your neighbors know it was done by REALTORS®. Small steps can make a big difference and build a foundation for greater advocacy gains.

If you need a starting point, check out the success stories on the REALTOR® Party website. Every month, we add new stories from associations of all sizes around the country that have achieved an advocacy win with the help of one of these programs. Each one contains contact information, so you can reach out directly to the Association Executive or Government Affairs Director and ask them how they did it.

Have an idea but not sure how to make it happen? Sign up for one-on-one coaching calls with NAR staff to help you get your project off the ground.

I want to address with preventing solutions of the Creighton Road flooding in the Chickahominy River being in county of Henrico/Hanover area. I do not know if VDOT has had any alterative correction currently other than to temporary block local residential traffic by putting road closed signs to prevent travel. Would it be advisable to bring VDOT, Hanover and Henrico counties engineers to a meeting to join in a reasonable solution?
    Concerned,
