The number of REALTOR® candidates who were elected to state and local offices across the county…and counting! This year, NAR was involved in 13 federal and 252 state and local independent expenditure campaigns and 25 issue campaigns with 53 REALTOR® candidates running for state and local offices. In addition to giving an overview of 2018’s new tax law, the series offers guidance for individuals and families filing tax returns, the tax incentives of owning a home, as well as business tax changes for real estate professionals.READ MORE

In comparison, insurance companies typically provide more than $100,000. On. Sacramento and Pacific West REALTORS® Join Forces to Keep Rent Control off the Ballot

Two local associations in California launched “decline to sign” campaigns to prevent rent-control ballot initiatives from garnering the necessary signatures to qualify for the Nov. 6 election. While one succeeded and the other did not, both groups agree that it was well worth the effort.

Haywood REALTORS® Supports Smart Growth and Affordable Housing in Waynesville, NC

Bounded by the Great Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountains and a flood plain, sprawl isn’t necessarily an option for the Town of Waynesville, NC; but using a REALTOR® Party Smart Growth Action Grant, the REALTORS® of Haywood County helped to shape the town’s 2020 Comprehensive Land Use Plan by sponsoring a public Visioning Workshop.
