NAR Continues Fight for Housing Providers
NAR’s most recent Existing Home Sales report showed nationwide housing inventory lower than its been since we began tracking this data nearly four decades ago – way back in 1982. In Denver, as in cities and towns across the country, we’ve heard reports of listings with more than 100 showings in one weekend and dozens of competitive offers rolling in soon after. North Carolina REALTORS® Proclaim Fair Housing Values in State-wide Media Campaign Supported by Consumer Advocacy Grant
NC REALTORS® asserted REALTOR® support of fair housing principles in a campaign they called ‘We Open Doors to Everyone,’ targeting North Carolina thought leaders, influencers, and stakeholder populations throughout April and May. It was made possible by NC REALTORS® Issues Mobilization funds, and its reach was extended by a Consumer Advocacy Outreach Grant from the REALTOR® Party.
Oklahoma City REALTORS® Improve Public Schools & Prevent Urban Flight
Public schools in Oklahoma were struggling, and the resulting urban flight was already having a detrimental impact on local communities. Using an Issues Mobilization Grant, the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® led a coalition that supported the passage of a $180 million bond measure to get the region’s schools back on their feet.
