Leveraging Study of Local Homestead Tax Exemption Policies, San Antonio Board of REALTORS® Brings About Dual Tax Relief for Homeowners

The National Association of REALTORS®’ recent Housing Affordability Study inspired the San Antonio Board to commission one of its own on a local level, with help from an Issues Mobilization Grant from the REALTOR® Party. It used the resulting analysis of area Homestead Tax Exemption policies to convince city and county legislators to maximize tax relief for over-burdened homeowners.

Peoria Area Association of REALTORS® Jump-Starts Neighborhood Revitalization

Sacramento Association of REALTORS® Equips Local Aspiring Homeowners with Resources and Know-How to Begin Homebuying Journey

The Sacramento Association of REALTORS® established a new Fair Housing Month tradition this year: a first-time homebuyers expo featuring information sessions, panels of new homeowners, and vendors drawn from its preferred-partner membership -- even Home Depot-sponsored activities to occupy the children! Midland Board of REALTORS® Supports Economic Productivity Analysis with REALTOR® Party Smart Growth Grant

As the City of Midland, Michigan prepared its Comprehensive Plan, it commissioned an economic productivity analysis from Urban3, an innovative land-use consulting firm. The results gave them a clear road map for the kind of development that will bring the most value – including much-needed housing and tax revenue. A Smart Growth Grant from the REALTOR® Party supported the study.
