Rural Economic Development Innovation (REDI) initiative
provides free technical assistance for up to two years to help rural towns and regions create and implement economic development plans. USDA’s Innovation Center created the REDI initiative to support recommendations identified in the Report to the President of the United States from the Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity. The recommendations outline steps to develop the rural economy and support quality of life.
Realtors Property Resource® Adds Qualified Opportunity Zones
CHICAGO (August 1, 2019) – Realtors Property Resource®, a nationwide data resource and a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Association of Realtors®, is pleased to announce the addition of Qualified Opportunity Zones to its platform. This powerful data layer will allow Realtors® to use RPR’s map interface to analyze and search for properties within the 8,700 Opportunity Zones throughout the U.S.

Split Decision on School Funding for Baldwin County REALTORS®
Baldwin County is the largest county in Alabama and one of the fastest-growing in the country with about 31,000 students attending 45 public schools. Despite the help of a REALTOR® Party Issues Mobilization Grant, Baldwin County residents’ votes resulted in a split decision on two public school funding issues in March. The Baldwin County Association of REALTORS® is looking forward to grassroots efforts and additional help of the REALTOR® Party to ensure funding for their public schools in the future.
Phoenix REALTORS®’ Creativity Leads to Sweeping RPAC Investments
With more than 9,200 members, the only sure-fire way for a mega-board like the Phoenix Association of REALTORS® (PAR) to get the attention of its full membership is to tie information to its dues renewal mailing. Several years ago, PAR launched a sweepstakes to encourage investment in RPAC during the December-January dues-renewal season; three years in, the event has gained such momentum that an RPAC Fundraising Grant recently earned back more than nine-times its value in RPAC investment.
